What is hearing loss?
To understand hearing loss, you first need to understand how healthy hearing works. The ear can be divided into four parts that receive and process sound before sending it to the brain for understanding.
The diagrams below illustrates what happens when you hear normally and what happens when you have hearing loss.
When we hear well, the ear is an amazing instrument.
Speech signals are conducted perfectly to the brain, enabling us to understand.

With hearing loss, something goes wrong.
