Causes of hearing loss
General wear and tear as we age and exposure to loud noise are the main causes of hearing loss.
It is estimated that 55% of people over the age of 60 have some hearing issues.

Noise-Induced Hearing Loss
Prolonged exposure to high intensity noise at work and at home can lead to hearing impairments developing at an increasingly earlier age. This is because sensitive structures in the inner ear can be damaged by prolonged exposure to excessive noise – or even by a single event like an explosion.
